Why i choose this song, because the character of this song has the same personality as me. This song tells us about how an introverted person going to a party that the person don't wanna go into. 

This song also tells us to never judge an introverted person because we have our own life in different ways as most other people in the world. 

The singer wrote this song is based on her singer experiences when she was forced by her friends to go to the party and got a judge by other people because she didn't talk much and just sit lonely without any friend.

Bosscha Observatory Bandung

Hi again guys! now i want to tell you about my favorite place in Bandung called Bosscha Observatory. I'm actually never been there because i don't have time to go there but soon i will go there with my friend :). 

Bosscha Observatory is the first modern astronomical research institution in Indonesia. This observatory is managed by Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).  Bosscha Obsevatory also has a unique role as the only major observatory in Indonesia, even in Southeast Asia.

The observatory is located in Lembang, West Java, approximately 15 kilometers north of Bandung. It is situated on a hilly six hectares of land and is 1,310 m  above mean sea level plateau. The IAU observatory code for Bosscha is 299.

This observatory has 7 main telescopes :

1.The Zeiss double refractor

• This telescope is mainly used to observe visual binary stars, conduct photometric studies on eclipsing binaries, imagelunar craters, observe planets (Mars, Saturn and Jupiter) and to observe comet details and other heavy bodies. The telescope has two objective lenses with a diameter of 60 cm (24 in) each and a focal length of 10.7 m (35 ft).

2. Bima Sakti Telescope 

• This telescope is used to study galactic structure, stellar spectra, asteroid studies, supernovae, and to photograph heavy bodies. The main lens diameter is 71.12 cm (28.00 in), the correcting bi-concave and convex lens is 50 cm (20 in) with a focal length of 2.5 m (8.2 ft). It is also equipped with a spectral prism with a prime angle of 6.10 degrees for stellar spectra, a wedge sensitometer and a film recorder.

3. The Bamberg refractor

• This telescope is used to determine stellar magnitude, stellar distance, and photometric studies of eclipsing stars, solar imaging, and others. It is equipped with a photoelectric photometer a 37 cm (15 in) lens diameter and a 7 m (23 ft) meter focal length.

4. The Cassegrain GOTO

• This was a gift from the Japanese government. This computer controlled telescope can automatically view objects from a database and this was the first digital telescope at Bosscha. The telescope is also equipped with a photometer and spectrometer-spectrograph.

5. The Unitron refractor

• This telescope is used for observing hilal, lunar eclipse, solar eclipse and sunspot photography, and also other objects. Lens diameter is 10.2 cm (4.0 in) and a focal length of 150 cm (59 in).

    

6. The Sun Telescope

• This telescope is a telescope consisting of 3 pieces of Coronado  with 3 different filters. This facility is a gift from the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture, the Netherlands, Leids Kerkhoven-Bosscha Fonds, the Ministry of National Education, and the Ministry of Research and Technology.

7. The Radio Telescope 2,3m

• Bosscha 2.3 m radio telescope or SRT (Small Radio Telescope) designed by MIT-Haystack Observatory and made by Cassi Corporation. This telescope works at a wavelength of 21 cm or in the frequency range of 1400-1440 MHz. Within the range there is a transition frekluensi neutral hydrogen lines, so it is very suitable telescope for observations of neutral hydrogen, for example in our galaxy, the Milky Way. Moreover, these telescopes can be used to observe distant objects such as extra galactic and quasars.

The problem this observatory have to face is the area around this observatory is not suitable to do an observation because of the light pollution. I hope we will have more observatory in Indonesia with a little light pollution and far from resident.

My Holiday Experience at Rancaupas Camping Site

Hello again everyone!!! by the way HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016!!! i hope this year will make us to become a better person than before :). This is my first post in 2016 and i will talk about my holiday experience at Rancaupas camping site. i hope you guys like it :)

But first i want to ask you about your holiday. Did you enjoy your holiday ? :). Actually this holiday i mostly resting at home but my Angklung team want to held a camping event to rest our mind after training all day. But the camping event it's not as i expected. Are you curious ? :) let's check it out.

I went to Rancaupas Ciwidey for 1 day from 9 until 10 January 2016. We met at Music Park at 6 AM. Not everyone arrive there yet, we still have to wait for our friends until the truck came at 7 am. On the trip we talked about so many thing  so we don't get bored but some of them were slept during the trip. The trip was about 3 hours because of the traffic. Finally we arrived at Rancaupas at 10 AM so the trip was approximately 3 hours.

Once we got there we all happy about it because of the view and not a lot of people there so it's a good place for refreshing. But our happiness suddenly fade  because once we thought that this is going to be a happy camping but it isn't. Actually the camping was meant to be our training for us to be more prepare to survive in Europe for 1 month.

First we have to give our cellphone to our supervisor so that we unable to use our cellphone during the camping. A lot of rules that we have to do and make us tired but it's for our interest if we want to survive in Europe.

The third main rules we got in there is we are unable to speak to each other unless we got permission to speak, we are unable to throw away trash at random place, and the last is we have to be on time on any situation without our clock. A lot of rules we broke on the first day but we could handle it just well.

In the night time we need to make fireplace before 7 pm but we fail because of that we get punished. On the sharing section we share our thought s a lot of my friends were cried and finally on the last day we sang Indonesia raya song together and i almost cried.

that was the most memorable night i ever experience. And i cant forget about it

My "Ex"School

Hello again everybody :). finally me and my classmates got a new task from our teacher to describe a place that you have been visited in Indonesia. So now i'm going to introduce to you my "Ex".

I know what you think " WHAT MELVIN HAS AN EX!!??". Nooo.... not that EX but i'm going to introduce to you my old school Al-Azhar BSD. Are you interested ? Good! let's check it out!

But first do you know where it is ? it is located in Puspita Loka Street, Sector 3,1,Bumi Serpong Damai, South Tanggerang, Banten. it's so far away from bandung about 150 Km away.

In Al-Azhar we have 4 main buildings :

1.Kindergarden

This is my "Ex"Kindergarden. it was built in 1992 and it has 6 class i think...i forgot it's been a long time and i can't go in the school because the kids still study when i took this picture :(

2.Elementary School

This is my "Ex"Elementary School. it was built in 1994. It has 30 classes so 5 classes for each grade.

3.Senior High School

This is my "Ex" Senior High School. It was built around 1994/1995 i think and it has 18 classes so 6 classes for each grade.

4.High School

The high school i don't know how many classes they have but i think it's the same as the senior high school because my friend told me that they have 3 science classes and 3 social classes which mean 6 classes for each grade but i don't know for sure.

In Al-Azhar we have 2 canteens we called it Canteen 1 and Food court (it's actually called canteen 2 but they change it because this canteen look like a food court rather than a canteen).

Al-Azhar also has the Center field. It is the biggest field in Al-Azhar complex. This field is often used for sport activity, flag ceremony, cultural festival,and many more.

The library in Al-Azhar has a lot of book than in SMAN 3. But i don't like the library because we have to get the permission for the teacher to go into the library not like in SMAN 3 we could enter the library anytime we want.

Because Al-Azhar is an Islamic School surely we have a mosque. the mosque has 2 floors. the first floor is for students from elementary and senior high school to pray and the second floor is for the high school students to pray.

That's all i can describe from my "Ex"school. Actually there's still a lot of places that i didn't mention because i don't have the picture :(.

GAMARVANI

Once a year, my school held a cultural festival. Before I move to SMAN 3 Bandung. For this year my school held cultural festival named Gamarvani. Gamarvani took from sakrit word ’GAMA’ which mean journey, and ‘PAVANI’ which mean to the moon. The theme for Gamarvani was took from legend tail “Nyi Anteh The Guardian Of The moon”.

As the committee from 10^th grade, I had to prepare a month before to make sure that the show run successfully. First we divided to a several searching group to find a company that agree to fill the food stand in this event. After searching and searching finally we found Bite Box. They agree to fill the food stand in gamarvani. We are so happy about it J.

After that we divided again into 19 “Door to Door” groups. Our task was to find a donors from alumnus. We didn’t get anything from alumnus. Because of that we got a new task  to find donors from 18’ generation. Finally we get Rp 1.000.000 but that’s to small from our target was Rp 3.000.000. but it’s okay we still happy about it :’).  

After all groups accomplished their task. We divided into our division. i’m different than others because I have two divisions, Decoration and Traditional games division.

At Tradisional games I’m  the person that in charge at Egrang. But the problem was  .....       I couldn’t ride egrang …… I tried it for about 4 hours but still I couldn’t ride it only 3 steps :’(. But when the games begins it’s running smoothly and successfully although I can’t demonstrate it to the participant how to ride it.

After all task are completed. Finally I could enjoy the show and wait for Adera and Hivi to show.

Then Adera showed up. I don’t really like Adera because he’s too much talking and it makes me bored and my legs hurt because fell from Egrang when I tried to ride it for the first time. Then I go back to the basecamp to get a rest and wating for Hivi to show up.

Finally Hivi showed up the show that I’ve been waiting for. They’re so cool and more better then Adera performance in my opinion. Me and all crowd are so happy and screaming until the end of the show.

At the end of the show I was so sad. Because after all crowd left the stage so many trash on the ground. The I take few the throw it the the trash can but I couldn’t take all the trash because it’s too many to take.

But overall the event was so fantastic and successful I love it so much. I hope next year will be more spectacular.

My New Friend

Hello again everyone, this time i'm gonna introduce my new friend in SMAN 3 bandung! 

His name is Stephan Ryoki Petrahansel Bangun. he was born at 4th September 2000 in Batukarang. he's now lives at Gambir Saketi st. number 4.

His favorite color is blue( don't ask me why). he really loves fruits and vegetables that gets juice is his favorite drink.

His father is a goverment employees. He took his family to move to bandung. His mother is a house wife. He so admire his mother he also said that "She is the one that change my perspective of life" because of her he able to be a student in SMAN 3 Bandung. 

He has two brothers. one of them is older than him. the older one is a student in Telkom University he took graphic design. His little brother was born at 4th july the same day with the U.S independence day.

I think he is a nice person but sometime he could be so annoying ( i don't know why) he's so smart and good at sport ( not like me )
